How caffeine affects sleep

Caffeine is a natural chemical that helps promote alertness by blocking adenosine receptors. It takes a while for it to leave your body, so if you consume it too late in the day, you may not be able to fall asleep.

Each day, Arcashift will show you your recommended time to end caffeine. Aim to finish any caffeinated drinks or food by this time in order to be able to fall asleep when you want to.
